The original founders of DVDO, the producers of the iScan line of video processors have formed a new company called Anchor Bay. They have regained control of the iScan product line-up and we are expecting new product introductions by the fall.

DreamVision has announced the release of their DreamWeaver DLP projector. It is intended to be slotted between the CineXOne and CineTenPro. The DreamWeaver offers 1280x720 resolution using the high-performance Mustang HD2 DLP processor and a Carl Zeiss designed Light Engine. It also includes the Faroudja DCD-i chip for built in video scaling. Truly a remarkable performer.

Musical Fidelity have announced that their 20th Anniversary Series limited edition Tri-Vista pre-amplifier and power amplifier will be available in June. The kWP is a two-chassis pre-amplifier, while the kW power amplifier is configured as a three-box system with two separate mono-blocks and a separate dual-mono power supply. These items are designed to complement the other items in the Tri-Vista line-up.
